This week's tally: 16 miles + XT
This week was a struggle. I'm on the Hal Higdon's online training schedule. And with any new schedule, it resulted in soreness.
Hal's program is three days of running with Cross Training (a.k.a. XT). I've always been a fan of "purposeful" training, but it's helpful to, first, be in shape. This week I've learned... despite some "wins" the last few weeks, I'm still really far behind. Hence the reason I'm sore.
Following Hal's advice I:
Tomorrow I'm scheduled for 12 miles, all downhill. We are "training" the legs for Fontana 1/2. Gotta beat up those quads so they are ready!

- Ran Sat, Mon, Tues and Thursday
- Biked Wed + added some strength training
- Hit the track for some speed work...
