This week's tally: 16

16 Miles.  I went from 3-4 miles a week to 16 miles.  All because my 10 miler last weekend went alot better than I thought it would. 

Now, I realize this number isn't all that impressive.  But, considering the break I took, it's not only a step in the right direction, it's also a springboard to boost my motivation.

This coming week I face the OC Marathon race... I'm smart enough to know I cannot compete in the Full like originally planned.  Instead I'll be running the Half.  Most likely at a comfortable pace.  No PRs here on Sunday.  Just easing back in and familiarizing myself (again) with my love for running.
